Kavita offers a poignant, cross-cultural lens into everyday resilience.

If you're drawn to art that balances authenticity, emotion, and cultural storytelling, her work is a style worth exploring further.

Kavita is a British Indian artist who grew up in Himachal Pradesh, the Himalayan state in India and now lives in Britain. "Creativity has been a part of me since childhood. I began painting at the age of 12, learning from Mr. D.J. Prim, a local artist in India. Since then, I've been largely self-taught”. says Kavita. The artist is also a Textile Designer, and has worked with both printmaking and weaving techniques.

Kavita has held exhibitions of her paintings in London and also in Mumbai, India. Her solo exhibition at Menier Gallery in London as well as group exhibitions in the past, with the Ealing Art Group at Pitshanger Manor Gallery and the Chelsea Art Fair were a success.

Over time, Kavita's paintings have started gaining recognition, and she has sold her work in the UK, India and the US, occasionally also working on murals.

Her work reflects the simplicity of life around us—the images that quietly hold within them both beauty and ugliness, conflict and resolution, struggle and enslavement, experience and realisation.

Kavita says, ”The simple moments in life... and just life... that is what I paint. Each one of us is a saga, a struggle, and a triumph. The strangers that we are to each other... that is life."

One of her most popular collections is 'SNOWFLAKES', where she paints scenes of life in Britain under snow—a body of work that many find both beautiful and deeply authentic.

Kavita Sarin Dass has exhibited and sold a significant amount of her work at the Parallax Art Fair at Chelsea in London. She regularly takes on private art commissions and is considered an accomplished artist by her peers and her patrons.

She held a solo exhibition at the Menier Gallery in Southwark and lso exhibited several times at the Pitshanger Manor Art Gallery in London as part of the Ealing Art Group.. Her work is available on Saatchi Art where she has been a 'featured artist'. Earlier, she participated in the exhibition 'Have A Heart'—in support of the charity Deeds—at Out of the Blue in Khar, Mumbai, alongside renowned artists such as Jamini Roy.

Kavita is exhibiting at the Open Ealing Exhibition this May 25th to 31st
